Rockin’ At the River
Join us for another incredible season of Rockin’ at the River, presented by the City of Pontiac! This free summer concert series takes place at Humiston Riverside Park and features a diverse lineup of live music all season long. Concerts run from 6:30–8:30 PM (unless otherwise noted), making it the perfect way to spend a summer evening. Bring your lawn chairs, grab your friends and family, and enjoy great music in a beautiful riverfront setting in Pontiac.

Swinging Bridges Art Festival
Join us May 2–3 for the 18th Annual Red Carpet Corridor Festival celebrating 100 miles of Route 66 across 14 Illinois communities. In Pontiac, enjoy the Swinging Bridges Art Festival with artists, vendors, and live music, plus the unveiling of the new Centennial Plaza near the Historic Museum Complex. Don’t miss the Skoolie Swarm, bringing a colorful lineup of converted buses and vans to Downtown all weekend in honor of Route 66 artist Bob Waldmire.

Cruise Night 2026 Season
Get ready for another unforgettable season of Downtown Pontiac Cruise Nights 2026!
Join us as we celebrate the Route 66 & Pontiac Car Centennial with a full lineup of special features and themed nights you won’t want to miss. Car lovers are invited to cruise into Downtown Pontiac (vehicle entry at the corner of Mill & Water Streets) and enjoy an evening filled with classic cars, community, and nostalgia.
Hosted by Donna & Dustin Cook and the Twizted Machinez Car & Truck Club, each Cruise Night runs from 5–8PM, kicking off with the National Anthem by Nathan Joerndt at 5PM. JD’s DJ Service will be back spinning music all evening long. Best of all — this event is free and open to everyone!
