The Bashful YoungensThe Bashful Youngens are an Americana duo based in Champaign, IL. Formed in 2015, by musicians Carrie Chandler and Aaron Short, the group is the product of years of friendship, proving a seamless transition to bandmates. The result is a unique sound, falling somewhere between modern folk and alt-country.

The Long and Winding Road TourJoin us for The Long and Winding Road: The Music Of John, Paul, George and Ringo, from the rooftop into history!
On January 30, 1969, The Beatles performed an unannounced concert from the rooftop of their Apple label headquarters building at 3 Saville Row, within central London’s office and fashion district. The impromptu live set was the culmination of sessions that resulted in the album and film “Let It Be” (currently expanded into the documentary film “Get Back”). Within less than a year the Beatles as a band were no more, and the members began prolific solo careers that continued producing memorable music throughout the following 50+ years.
On August 28, 2022, Rockin’ At The River, in conjunction with the City of Pontiac, proudly presents a live tribute to the Beatles collectively and individually, covering the entire “Let It Be” album and a wide selection of solo material from John, Paul, George and Ringo. The show will feature many of central Illinois’ most established and respected musicians from such area groups as The Nikbeats, Kool Ray & the Polaroidz, Ready Steady Go, Johnny Quest, The Bogart Jones Band, and more.

The Neverly BrothersTHE NEVERLY BROTHERS: “A Rock ‘n’ Roll Tribute – From Elvis to the Beatles!”
The Neverly Brothers concerts are a tribute to one of the most exciting chapters in music history: the birth, near death and resurrection of rock n’ roll. Their one-of-a-kind high energy stage performances take you on a musical guided tour of rock history – from 1955 to 1965.
The first half of their concert pays tribute to the music created by the 1950s American Rock n’ Roll pioneers – which by 1960 had become a distant memory but became the inspiration for the next wave of young rock bands from Britain. The second half then pays tribute to the 1964 British Invasion bands that re-recorded the forgotten 1950s American rock music – along with lesser known early 1960s rhythm & blues songs, recorded their own original songs and pulled Rock n’ Roll from the edge of extinction by re-inventing and re-energizing it for a new generation.
You’ll learn rock history and be thoroughly entertained with their chronological song sequence, stories behind the music and vintage wardrobe changes. Their repertoire consists of show-stopping renditions of early hits by Jerry Lee Lewis (Great balls of fire), Chuck Berry (Johnny B.
